   KRISTI KING CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Kristi has made a living as a singer for over three decades, performing mainly in Southern California, Hawaii, and Las Vegas, She made TV appearances with Regis Philbin (where she sang a song written by hit songwriter Diane Warren), the Righteous Brothers, and opened twice for the legendary comedienne Joan Rivers. She produced and hosted her own show in Palm Springs entitled "What's Going On," involving interviews with celebrities and fashion industry people. The show aired ten times on the Fox channel.
KRISTI has performed regularly in Palm Springs and Los Angeles at such venues as The Purple Room, Torme's Jazz Club, the Four Seasons Hotel, the McCallum Theater, the Annenberg Theater, the Big Horn Country Club, Trump 29 Casino, La Quinta Resorts, the Thunderbird, PGA West CC, the Vintage CC, to name a few.

Kristi is the lead singer of the fabulous vocal trio "The Sensational Jewels," who are considered one of the best acts in Palm Springs.

“In an era of thin voices and wispy emotions, Kristi King’s mature sound and approach to a song is refreshing, indeed. We believe her no matter what she sings, a song by Aretha Franklin or one by Doris Day. She reminds us of the songs we love and the singers who sang them. But, like a true pro, she interprets, never imitates."

J. Merrill, producer, NPR’s Jazz Profiles.
